Our law firm is seeking an experienced family law attorney who can assist our clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues of family law, including divorce, child custody, guardianship of a minor, and post-final judgment modification and contempt actions. Many of our clients are also survivors of domestic violence and/or coercive control. Jobseekers should be equally familiar with prenuptial agreements and be able to effectively engage in oral debate and negotiation even in highly stressful and emotional situations. Responsibilities:Foundations Family Law was created to be an intentionally different law firm. We are a heart-centered business and strive to resolve family law conflicts as painlessly and peacefully as possible in Central-Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
While the attorney must be able to attend scheduled court hearings in Rhode Island and Central-Eastern Mass (we are based in Worcester county), office hours and client meetings are completely remote/virtual. We also offer a flexible work schedule and sustainable billable hour requirement (as low as 80 hours/month) to accommodate working parents.
